Disha and Zeno are Bianci grendels, one of Trix's Logic Grendel genomes from the Universe of Ettins. Bianci grendels are amphibious, intelligent, and like to play, particularly with eggs. They like norns and don't hit much, so they're a good choice of grendels for players who want to have the different races of creatures living together in their worlds. The Bianci's most unique quality is that they are immune from being slapped to death. Their appearance genes are civet, zebra, and pyrite grendel.

Blood Grendels are fierce killing machines with a taste for critters. Females are more violence-prone than males. They don't get as hungry for starch. They like it hot, so Ettins beware. Unzip the files into the appropriate C3/DS folder. Be sure you get all of them or they might not look/work right. The .cos files make the meerk and balloon bugs edible to help satisfy the blood grendels taste for critters. DO NOT overwrite your original files. Rename them to something like "meerk.bk.cos" or move them out of the bootstrap folder. Then later if you want to restore them to their original coding,you can.

Gremlin Grendels

We're proud to be hosting Thunderchief's fine genetic grendel breed, the gremlin grendels. Here's what he had to say about them:

In my opinion this is why norns have so many spaceship problems. These cute but not so cuddly creatures have a mean streak and a half. I created them using natural mating and the inseminator to speed up generations. They have a hyper personality when not slapping or sleeping. They will not overpopulate your ship, but they're very hard to keep up with if you have more than a few. They seem to enjoy using portals. I hope you enjoy these creatures. KnyteTrypper's notes: As it turned out Thunderchief was missing a couple of sprite sets, and his creation didn't look quite like he intended. He gave me permission to re-engineer their appearance genes, and I think I've found a good look for them. To display them correctly you'll need C3 grendel, and toxic and draconian norn sprites. The gremlins are babies in the download.

We're proud to be hosting Minisauron's new genetic grendel breed, the
Gremlins of Minimordor (version1). They're a unique grendel species with many
special features. Males and females are quite different in both form
and function. Male genetics are stable, while female genetics are likey
to mutate. Females are normal agers, males are fastagers. They are
amphibious, have special immunities, and very different natures. See the
excellent ReadMe which Minisauron has included for full details.

Since the female form is mutable, you'll need an assortment of sprites
to view the GoMs800 grendels correctly, but these will include standard
C3 norn and grendel species. Both creatures have just reached breeding
age in the download.

The Killer Grendels are one of Grendel Man's most recent genetic creations, and he's really outdone himself this time. If you like grendels, you want these. Here's what he says about them in the readme:

These grendels look like version 3 anger grendels. But compared to these, Anger Grendels are peaceful and friendly. These grendels will hunt your norns and ettins down and kill them from the minute they hatch. They also are black, with a bit of blue underneath it. Other than the enhanced hunting genes, they are otherwise very much like the anger grendels, with each drive converting to anger, and anger curing diseases and healing wounds.

Why did I make these? I created these because of KynteTrypper's Hunter Norns. I wanted to make a grendel that would be their worst nightmare. And unless you have ghost/phantom norns and their crosses somewhere, these guys can easily make your norns and ettins extinct.

Lindorn Grendels

Grendel Man says the Lindorm Grendels were inspired by serpentine dragons who only had their front legs. During the middle ages they were commonly depicted in Europe, especially Sweden.
The Lindorm Grendel is also lacking of hindlimbs (when they pass the childhood stage of development, anyway). They are mostly carnivorous, seeds being the only vegetation they will eat. While mostly friendly to norns and other grendels, they are the ettin's antongonists.
Other Features of the Genome include:
-They are heat lovers, and use heat and light to repair injuries.
-They want ot go up right after they are born, and every time they feel cold.
-They are less frequent breeders then normal grendels.
-They live longer then normal grendels.
-They use the sprites of the C3 Grendel (Grendel A) and Aquanorns (Ettin K).
The download is an eggs.agent. Unzip it to your My Agents folder.

Moonwater Grendels

The Moonwwater Grendels live in the sea. Although amphibious, they rarely wander away from water. They like to eat critters, but sometimes will come ashore to eat seeds or fruit. Light will injure and eventually kill them. The oceans have little-if any-light, therefore are perfect for the Moonwaters.
While not particularly violent, they will attack norns and ettins when bored or angry. They're somewhat more resistant to slaps than a regular grendel. Like sea monsters and rainbow fish grendels, the moon waters have use of facial expressions. They use regular C3 grendel sprites.

Grendel Man's Nightmare Beasts use an elemental theme to present a set of four different grendel breeds which symbolize earth, air, fire, and water. Here's an exerpt from the readme:
hese 4 genomes are all agressive grendels. They all have the angry expression on their faces, and dislike both norns and ettins.
Fire Beasts-these monsters love heat, and need it to breathe. When cold, they will hit ettins, but will mostly ignore norns. If hit, they will lose heat and suffocate.
Water Beasts-These ones are gilled, but can live a long time on land. They like to play with toys or hit norns an ettins they find in their aquatic world.
Twilight Beasts-These smaller ones do not eat. They get nutrition from phyiscal contact with other creatures. They like to chase beasts when bored. They can breed from birth.
Tempest Beasts-These grendels don't sleep. They like to chase weather, grab critters, and play with toys.

Orochi Grendels
Yamato-No, the original Orochi grendel

The Orochi Grendels are a genetic breed by Grendel Man. We're proud to be hosting this breed by one of the CC's most prolific gengineers. He says this breed was inspired by the konnichiwa norns:
Orochi, in Japanese mythology, was a terrible monster with 8 heads and 8 tails. It was large enough to span 8 hills, and had an inflamed belly. It was slain by the storm god Susano-Wo.
The Orochi Grendels start out friendly and peaceful, creatures who prefer to play with toys then hit machinery. When childhood comes, however, they go after norns to hit when they are bored. Usually, they do not hit enough to kill the norn. Adolesence brings on an instinct to hit ettins, and the orochi take on a smaller form that resembles what they wil l look like when adult. It is also the stage killing norns and ettins begins. At youth, a chemical reaction causes norns to make orochi angry. They hit norns when angry at this stage. Adulthood brings on the final hitting instinct (hit ettins when angry). They are at the most dangerous stage at this point. Fortunatly for norns and ettins, orochi move slow.
They walk on all fours their whole lives. They also can breathe under water. Babies also have instincts to go up when cold, and go down when hot. They are to an extent, expressive-although they lack the tired and hurt expressions. They are a nice green color, which they keep their whole lives. They use
zwergbunt and banshee grendel sprites (You cannot get a swollen belly in Creatures, so a body larger than the head, limbs, and tail will have to do!)
Place the eggs.agents file in your My Agents folder, and the starter creatures into your My Creatures folder.

Rainbow Fish Grendels

Here are Grendel Man's Rainbow Fish Grendels. They look somewhat like his Sea Monster Grendels, but their needs are quite different. First, the Rainbow Fish Grendels are not amphibious. They are a gilled species, and must have a water room to live in. Both babies and adults must be kept underwater, so if you happen to hatch them on land, get them quickly to water. When bored, they want to play with toys, rather than gadgets or machinery. Keep them away from poisonous or inedible bugs.

To use the Rainbow Fish Grendels in your world, just place the Rainbow Fish.agents in your My Agents folder. You'll find them in your egglayer's breed list. You'll need maraquan and masked grendel sprites to view them correctly.

Toxic Grendels

For toxic creatures fans, Grendel Man presents two genetic breeds suitable for life in the waste and radiation zones, the Garbage Banshee Grendels and the Sewage Banshee Grendels. Here are some exerpts from the readme:
These two genomes are banshee-based grendels designed to live in toxic areas like the garbage dump. They like to eat detritus, and are diffrent in terms of where they can live.
The sewage banshees are more adapted to toxins then the toxic norns are. Toxins are cures to them, while cures are poison. In other words, you can't let them eat any food in Docking Station without it either hurting them or killing them, unless the toxic replacements are installed. They also need to be in water to mate and lay eggs, and are amphibious.
The Garbage Banshees, on the other hand, can live in clean enviroments or toxic enviroments. They are simply immune to all toxins, and are not affected by them. They too are amphibious, but they do not need to be in water for any reason.

Vampire Grendels

Another great new grendel breed from Grendel Man, the Vampire
Grendels (not to be confused with Trix's Vampyre Grendels). He says:

In spite of their angry look, which is fused on their faces, these grendels are actually rather friendly when young. Although they will hit gadgets and machinery, they will also play with toys. Babies will also eat normally, and are pretty much normal. But when these grendels become adult, they acquire starch and protein in another, completely diffrent way-they attack norns and ettins, and they get starch and protein from slapping their prey.

Babies can stand the light with little or no issues. But when they become adolescents, any direct source of light will cause painful injury and death. As a result, the best room to keep them in is the jungle terrarium. They will automaticallty head there when in pain. Also, starch, protein, and fat are used by the grendel's metabolism to heal wounds and relieve pain. The black coloring they will keep their whole lives. They use the sprites of Vampyre Grendels, Dusky Grendels, and C3 Ettins. Put the eggs.agents in your DS My Agents folder and the new breed will appear in your egglayer's breedlist.

Water Predator Grendels

Grendal Man's Water Predators breathe and swim underwater. They don't feel homesick when they're underwater. They do not reproduce as fast as normal grendels, and walk on all fours. The females do not age when an egg is laid. Other than this, they are normal grendels, and several genes have been added to make them even more dangerous to aquatic norns (and ettins). Therefore, it is best to keep them separate from your norns and ettins, and on their own. You need the C3 Grendel Sprites before you can see these properly, and without them crashing the game
if you're playing in a DS-standalone world.

Installation-put the .agents file into your "My Agents" Folder, and the water predators should be in your egglayer.
